Three clones of Cabernet are planted on our estate and this wine clearly delineates all three. Overall, the wine is rich with concentrated spice, fruit and earth.
Opening up beautifully with a nose full of red fruit - sweet and fragrant - the fine grain tannins give this wine palate length. This Bordeaux blend has a merlot component, giving the wine some floral notes.
Our Reserve wine is complex, concentrated and very rich, with mouth-warming tannins to engage your senses. It has both immense fruit and detailed structure. It is at once savory and sweet.
The nose is highlighted by strawberry, rose, red currant and lime. The red cherry attack leads to a focused mouth of strawberry, peach, green mango and meyer lemon.
The nose is bright with hints of strawberry, red currant, blueberry, rose petals, fig and vanilla. A blueberry attack leads to a focused mouth of pomegranate, red plum, raspberry, chocolate, and hints of peppercorn.
The nose is complex with hints of black cherry, raspberry, dark chocolate, vanilla, fresh tobacco, anise, and hints of bell pepper. A cherry attack leads to a full mouth of plum, blueberry, raspberry, black tea, and hints of baking spice.
Deeply colored and reminiscent of the volcanic soil on which it was grown, slightly more than one acre produces this small bottling of outstanding Cabernet Franc. The palate greets you with a supple, mouthcoating texture that balances acidity and tannin.
Known for its unique lavender and white pepper aromas, firm tannins surround this wine’s spicy core. Toasted notes from the barrel lend warmth to the nose and mouthfeel.
Roughly two to five tons from each Appellation are vinified and aged separately; the components are brought together before bottling in a perfect marriage of all Sixteen Appellations. Fruit, spice and earth that characterize our signature blend.
A balanced fusion of red and dark fruits, full of current, blueberry, tobacco and light leather. Hints of subtle earth, compliment the fruit components without overpowering them. Riper growing conditions and the addition of the warmest growing region, Calistoga, show in the wine.
A perfumed nose of plum, currant, violets, vanilla, forest fl oor, and quince. Fresh raspberry attack leads into a juicy mouth of strawberries, red currant, blueberry and fresh tobacco. Fine grain tannins melt into a refreshing fi nish of pomegranate.
A classic nose of raspberry, boysenberry, cocoa, tarragon, and anise. A blackberry attack leads to a focused mouth of cherry, cranberry, coff ee grounds and hints of bell pepper.
